Peacefully on Sunday, May 9, 2021, at the age of 83. Predeceased by her husband, Cecil D. Dow. Daughter of the late Russell Hoy and Lula (McDonald). Sister to the late Wilda (George Toner) and niece Gayle. Cherished mother of Deborah, Gregory, Stephen (Susan) and Susan (Dennis). Loving grandmother to Dana, Dennis Jr., Darlene, Dylan, Melissa, Tyler, and Jarrett. Great-Grandmother to Lyla, Hailee, Ayden, Ayvree, and Aryia. Betty was an avid gardener and a very generous soul. She loved nature. All the animals that visited her garden will miss her and her special treats.
The family will have a private ceremony at Springhill Cemetery at a later date. Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or Elisabeth Bruyere Hospital St. Vincent.
